Mo Creatures:Horses
This page will have infomation on the items that can be used on Horses, and the breeds of Horses.
First things first you need to tame your horse. You can do this by right clicking on them with wheat or bread. There is a diffrent amount of wheat/bread that has to be given to each breed of Horse to tame them. But the quicker method is to right click on them with apples, as it only takes one apple. Tamed Horses can be ridden, with a Horse Saddle, and right clicked with ropes to move them. If you kill a Horse they drop leather.
Next you need to create a saddle to ride your horse. You may think you need a normal saddle, like the one's you use with pigs, but you actully need a horse saddle to ride them. Here is the recipe:
Now you can ride your horse, to do this you simply right click it. There are many diffrent breeds for horses, some spawn naturally, other's have to be bred, by breeding two other breeds of horses. Here are the naturally spawning Horses:
Normal Horse
This is the most common breed of horse. They are the slowest breed and don't take much damage. They have a breeding value of 1 and are the worst type of horse.
Brown Horse
This is the second most common breed of Horse. They are slightly faster than the normal Horses, but otherwise are preety much the same. They have a breeding value of 2.
Black Horse
These are quite rare and hard to find. They are very fast and take alot more damage than the Normal Horse before they die. They have a breeding value of 3.
Unicorn
These are extremly rare. They are the fastest naturaly spawning Horse. They have a breeding value of 4.
Pegasus
These are the rarest breed of Horse. They are very fast, and unlike any other breed of Horse, besides from the Black Pegasus, can fly.They have a breeding value of 5. They can also be bred from two horses who hve breeding values that add up to 10. Here are some pictures of a Pegasus doing so.
Breeding
Now for the Horses that need to be bred. To breed Horses they need to be in a compact encloser. After this you need to give the two Horses a Pumpkin or Mushroom Stew. Then you have to wait far away for about half a Minecraft day. Make sure there is no other Horse around, otherwise it won't work.

Pack Horse
This is the Pack Horse. They are bred with two Horses who have a breeding value that adds up to 7. They are unique as they are on of the only Horses, besides from the Black Pegasus, that can carry items. Simply right click it with a chest, and it will be able to carry stuff. To open its chest you right click on it with either a torch, or a stone shovel. They themselves have a breeding value of 6.
Nightmare
This is a Nightmare. They are bred with two Horses who have a breeding value that adds up to 9. They are fire resistant and can set the area on fire by giveing them redstone. They themselves have a breeding value of 7.
Black Pegasus
I haven't managed to get a Black Pegasus yet, but I'll try to breed one. Basiclly they are the best horse you can get, they are fire resistant, like the Nightmare, they can carry things, like the Pack Horse, and they can fly, like the Pegasus. I would also guess they are pretty fast. They can only be bred with a Nightmare and a Pegasus, as they have a breeding value of 12, and breeding two Pack Horses would just make another Pack Horse. they themselves have a breeding value of 8.
